Description
When you start noticing gear oil dripping under your rotary cutter, that bottom gearbox seal is probably calling it quits. This little seal sits at the bottom of the gearbox where all the cutting blade action happens, keeping your gear oil inside where it belongs instead of making a mess all over your cutter deck and the ground below.
What You’re Getting
- Perfect fit seal measuring 1.938 inches inside diameter by 3.00 inches outside diameter
- 5/16 inch width gives you the right seal surface to stop those pesky leaks
- Oil-resistant material that handles the heat and pressure of hard mowing work
- Direct replacement that installs just like the original factory seal
Built for Real Farm Work
This seal fits the bottom of gearboxes on many popular rotary cutter brands. Whether you’re cutting pastures, mowing roadsides, or cleaning up fence rows, rotary cutters take a beating and that bottom seal sees the worst of it with all the debris, moisture, and constant spinning motion.
Made to Last
Farm equipment seals need to handle temperature swings, flying rocks, and constant flexing. This seal is built from quality rubber compounds that stay flexible and keep sealing even when things get hot and dusty out there in the field.
Good to Know
You’ll want to drain the gear oil before pulling the old seal out. A seal puller or small pry bar usually does the trick, but be careful not to scratch the shaft or housing. Clean everything up good before pressing the new seal in place, and don’t forget to refill with fresh gear oil.
