Description
When you’re running your International Harvester through dusty fields and demanding farm work, that inner air filter is your engine’s last line of defense. While the outer filter catches the big chunks of dirt and debris, this inner element traps the fine particles that slip through—the stuff that’ll turn your engine into an expensive paperweight if it gets past your air filtration system. It’s the backup that keeps your engine breathing clean when the work gets really dusty.
What You’re Getting
- High-efficiency filtration media that catches microscopic particles the outer filter misses
- 14-inch length with 4 15/32-inch diameter for maximum filtering surface area
- Precise fit that seals properly with no bypass of unfiltered air
- Heavy-duty Baldwin construction that handles vibration and temperature swings
- Direct replacement for your original equipment—no modifications needed
Built for Real Farm Work
This filter works with International Harvester equipment that sees the kind of demanding conditions that come with real farm operations. Whether you’re cultivating in dry conditions, combining dusty grain, or running through sandy soils, your engine needs that extra protection when the air gets thick with particles. These machines power everything from morning chores to marathon harvest days, and clean air keeps them running strong.
Made to Last
Baldwin has been making quality filters for decades, and this one’s built to handle the harsh conditions your equipment faces every day. The pleated filter media captures fine particles while the robust construction stands up to engine vibration, temperature swings, and the constant airflow demands of hard-working engines. Quality materials mean consistent performance throughout the service interval.
Installation Notes
Installation is straightforward – remove the air cleaner cover, pull out the old inner filter, and insert the new one with the airflow direction arrow pointing toward the engine. Always replace the inner filter when you change the outer filter, and check both filters more frequently during dusty conditions. Make sure the inner filter seats properly against the housing to prevent air bypass.
