Nothing beats the mechanical feel of manual steering when you’re threading between fence posts or making precise passes in tight spots. If your Massey 35 or 135 steering has gotten sloppy with too much play at the wheel, this replacement manual steering box brings back that direct connection to your front wheels you depend on for accurate work.

- 330mm outer column length matches original factory specifications perfectly
- Time-tested worm and sector gear design proven over decades of farm use
- Direct bolt-in replacement with no modifications or adapters needed

Built for Real Farm Work
These Massey Ferguson 35 and 135 tractors are legendary workhorses that handle diverse farming operations from cultivating row crops and managing hay production to operating loaders and handling livestock chores. Whether you’re navigating between crop rows, maneuvering around buildings and equipment, or working on slopes and uneven terrain, precise steering control is essential. Manual steering gives you that direct mechanical feel that’s perfect for precision work like cultivating between rows or careful loader positioning.
Made to Last
This steering box uses the same heavy-duty construction as the original equipment, with precision-machined gears and quality materials that stand up to years of farm use. The 330mm column length ensures proper alignment with your steering column, and the keyed shaft connection stays tight even after thousands of hours of operation.
Installation Notes
This is a direct replacement that bolts right in place of your worn box. Installation requires removing the old box completely, which means disconnecting the steering arms and column. Take photos of the steering arm position before removal to help with reassembly. The box has adjustment for gear mesh – set it with just a slight drag at center position, not completely free play. Too tight and you’ll wear the gears quickly; too loose and you’re back to sloppy steering. If your existing box just needs freshening up, consider the repair kit (part 63289) as a more economical option.
