Installation Notes

Drain the tank or shut off the fuel valve first. Clean the sealing surfaces thoroughly with a rag—no sandpaper which creates grooves. Install the new gasket dry with no sealers needed. Hand-tighten the bowl until it just contacts the gasket, then go another quarter turn. For banjo washers, always use new ones on both sides and avoid over-tightening.
