Installation Notes

Clean that seal bore thoroughly and check for any scoring that could cause new leaks. Use a proper seal driver – never hammer directly on the seal itself. A light coating of clean gear oil on the lips helps with installation and initial break-in. While you’ve got things apart, it’s smart to replace seals on both sides since they typically wear at similar rates.
