Description
When you’re fighting through heavy corn stalks or trying to size up cover crop residue, you need a disc blade that cuts instead of just pushing material around. This 32-inch notched blade brings serious cutting power to your tillage operation, with each notch creating a scissor action that slices through tough stalks other blades just bend over. The Durafaced treatment adds extra hardness to the cutting edge, keeping it sharp longer through rocks and abrasive soils.
What You’re Getting
- Aggressive notched edge design creates scissor action that cuts through tough stalks instead of just bending them over
- Durafaced treatment on the cutting edge for extended wear life in rocky and abrasive conditions
- 8mm thickness provides the strength needed for heavy-duty tillage work
- Flat center design improves soil flow while maintaining aggressive cutting action
- 1-3/4 inch square axle mounting fits a wide range of disc harrows
Built for Real Farm Work
This blade is sized for serious tillage equipment – the disc harrows and field cultivators that handle corn, soybean, and wheat stubble across hundreds of acres. It’s particularly effective in no-till and minimum-till operations where you’re working through substantial crop residue. The 32-inch diameter gives you the weight and cutting surface area to break up compacted ground and properly size residue in fewer passes.
Made to Last
The Durafaced treatment hardens the cutting edge beyond what standard heat treating provides, so you’ll keep that sharp cutting action longer even in rocky ground. The larger 32-inch diameter maintains its cutting effectiveness longer as it wears, giving you more value over the blade’s lifetime. Quality steel construction handles the shock loads when you hit hidden obstacles in the field.
Installation Notes
This is a direct replacement for worn blades on harrows using 1-3/4 inch square axles. When replacing blades, never mix worn and new on the same gang – the diameter difference creates uneven cutting that leaves mohawk strips. Check your spool spacing while gangs are apart; notched blades can require slightly different spacing than smooth blades for optimal performance.
