Description
If you’ve ever worked on a Ford tractor’s fuel system, you know how frustrating it is when those little compression fittings start leaking. This fuel pipe olive – that small brass fitting that creates a seal between your fuel line and the threaded connections – might be tiny, but when it’s worn or damaged, it’ll cause fuel leaks that make a mess and waste expensive diesel.
What You’re Getting
- Precise brass construction that creates a tight seal against fuel tube connections
- Exact replacement for original factory olive fittings throughout the fuel system
- Proper size and threading to work with standard 6mm fuel line sizes
- Resistant to diesel fuel and won’t deteriorate like rubber components can
- Direct fit – no modifications needed for installation
Built for Real Farm Work
This olive works across a huge range of Ford and New Holland tractors, from the compact 2600 series utility tractors that handle barn chores and hay work, all the way up to the bigger TW series machines and modern TS tractors that pull planters and run large implements. Whether you’re running a dairy operation, row crop farm, or mixed livestock and grain setup, these tractors are workhorses that need reliable fuel delivery.
Made to Last
Farm fuel systems take a beating from vibration, temperature swings, and just plain hard use. This olive is machined from quality brass that handles compression fitting pressure without cracking or deforming. Unlike plastic or rubber seals that can harden and fail over time, brass maintains its sealing properties season after season.
Installation Notes
When you’re replacing fuel line olives, it’s a good idea to inspect the entire compression fitting assembly. Clean the threads on both the fitting and the component it’s threading into – any dirt or old thread sealant can prevent a proper seal. Don’t over-tighten these fittings; the olive does the sealing work, not the torque on the threads. Hand-tight plus about a quarter turn with a wrench is usually plenty.
