Powerful Honda Motor
There’s no compromise with a Honda battery powered mower. Honda’s powerful motor offers the same power and torque as our GCV series gas powered engines. It’s ready to tackle the toughest mowing conditions. Our design features a forced air system that drives fresh air over key components inside the motor, allowing them to stay cooler and perform well in demanding outdoor operating conditions.
Superior performance
Honda’s motor provides high torque that maintains RPMs to let the lawn mowers power through thick or tall grass and maintain a clean, even cut. In addition, the motors are designed to combine high power with mid-level power consumption while providing a superior cut and bag fill.
12 AH lithium-ion battery
The HRX-BE comes standard with a 12 AH lithium-ion battery. It also has two battery bays, allowing you to easily add a second optional battery for additional run time. Each 12 AH battery can power approximately 45 minutes of run time, or about .37 acres, depending on your mowing conditions.
Durable battery connection
Honda’s battery features unique spring-loaded terminals. This patent-pending design helps maintain battery life by providing a tighter connection between the battery and lawn mower – reducing the potential for damage from misalignment.
e-Select Drive: Simple, precision speed control
The HRX-BE offers Honda’s exclusive e-Select Drive electric transmission, with precise speed control that’s fully adjustable from 0 to 4 mph. It’s easy and convenient to increase or decrease your speed with the touch of a button. And e-Select Drive offers incredible performance, with a rapid response time and a brisk ramp up speed.

Easy, convenient rear discharge
